Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Griffin Blue, who operates ATP Quest (“we”, “us”), about your use of ATP Quest. By using ATP Quest you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

The service

ATP Quest is a study tool for the MCAT: original practice questions, spaced-repetition scheduling, reference material and study games. The free tier includes 25 new questions a day and unlimited reviews; paid plans unlock the rest, as described on the pricing page. We may change, add or remove features, and will not remove a paid feature during a period you have already paid for without a pro-rata refund.

Accounts

You may use ATP Quest without an account. To create one you must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live sets a higher age for using online services without a parent’s consent, and give an email address you control. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission to buy a paid plan, and they accept these terms for you. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account. An account is for one person: don’t share it.

Plans and billing

Payments are processed by Stripe on its own checkout page. Prices are in US dollars. Where we are required to collect sales tax, VAT or GST, it is calculated from your location and shown at checkout before you pay. Your bank may charge a fee for a payment in a foreign currency.

Premium ($19 a month)

This is a subscription that renews automatically. Renews automatically at $19 a month until you cancel. Cancel any time from Account → Manage billing; you keep access to the end of the month you paid for. We charge the payment method on file at the start of each monthly period. We will tell you in advance of any price change, and it will apply only from your next period after the notice.

3-Month Pass ($49 once)

A single payment for 90 days of Premium, starting when payment completes. It does not renew and you will not be charged again. Buying another pass while one is active adds 90 days to the end of the current one.

Refunds

See the Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection law of the place where you live.

Cancelling

You can cancel a subscription at any time from Account → Manage billing, in the same number of steps it took to subscribe. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for, then return to the free tier. Your progress is never deleted because you cancel.

Acceptable use

Don’t: copy, scrape or redistribute the question bank or figures; share or resell access; try to get around the free tier’s limits or the paywall; attack, probe or overload the service; or use it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.

Content and trademarks

The questions, explanations, figures, software and design of ATP Quest are ours or our licensors’ and are protected by copyright. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study while your access lasts. Your study data is yours; you can export it at any time.

MCAT® is a registered trademark of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). ATP Quest is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the AAMC. Every question in ATP Quest is original; none is taken from official AAMC materials.

No guarantee of results

ATP Quest is a study aid. We work hard to make its content accurate, but it may contain errors, and we don’t promise any score or admission outcome. If you find a mistake, please report it.

Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some places don’t allow these exclusions, or limit them for consumers; if you live in one, they apply to you only as far as your local law permits.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to ATP Quest is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Termination

You can stop using ATP Quest and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms; if we end a paid plan for any other reason, we will refund the unused part.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dane County, Wisconsin, except that if you are a consumer you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live, and you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country or state. Before bringing a claim, please write to us: most problems can be fixed quickly.

Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give account holders at least 30 days’ notice by email and on this page. If you don’t agree to the new terms, you can cancel before they take effect.
